What’s in My Medicine Cabinet for Sunscreen Safety?

It’s summer so sunscreen safety always comes up. It is amazing how toxic our sunscreens really are. There are some good ones out there though so take time to research them. The best tool for looking up how toxic your favorite one is to plug it in thru EWG. Make sure you buy new sunscreen every year because they do lose their effectivity. I seem to vary mine year after year. This year I have one from Annmarie Gianni that I really like. If I need some from the grocery store I grab Coppertone high performance sport CREAM (the sprays create all sorts of issues).

Don’t forget that our hands and arms get exposed daily when driving. This is the number one reason for those spots on your hands! Might consider a lotion with sunscreen in it so they are always covered.

Stay cool and wear your sunscreen!
